Malaysia’s Sunview Collaborates With Saudi Firm to Explore Renewable Energy Opportunities

Sunview Group Berhad (Sunview), a prominent Malaysia headquartered renewable energy player principally involved in the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning and related activities, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia-based Vision Ambassadors Company For International Trade Consultancy, LCC (Vision).

Under the MoU, both parties will focus on seeking development and investment opportunities in relation to renewable energy and/or green energy. The collaboration will jointly identify locations of potential projects, with both parties serving as the principal investors. Sunview will exclusively be in charge of the EPCC related tasks for the potential project.

Sunview Group Berhad executive director & chief executive officer HP Ong said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Vision Ambassadors. We will not only explore for opportunities within Malaysia but also across other regions, including Saudi Arabia, Middle East, Africa as well as Southeast Asia. This endeavour aims to extend our geographical footprint beyond the Malaysian market.”

Sunview is principally involved in the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) facilities. The facilities are for large scale solar projects, industrial, commercial, and residential buildings, solar PV and installation services, solar power generation and supply as well as associated products and services to complement the group’s core services.
